Professional coaching environment with focused interaction

Understanding what people don't say

Body language reveals more than words in coaching sessions. This program teaches you to read micro-expressions, interpret spatial positioning, and understand the silent signals that shape every conversation.

What you're actually learning

Nonverbal communication isn't about memorizing gestures. It's about developing observation skills that work in real coaching situations.

Reading facial expressions

Seven universal emotions have distinct markers. You'll learn to spot them in the first 200 milliseconds before people mask their reactions.

Spatial awareness

How someone positions themselves in a room tells you about comfort levels, power dynamics, and openness to dialogue. Distance matters more than most coaches realize.

Gesture interpretation

Hand movements, posture shifts, and unconscious touches provide context that words alone miss. We focus on clusters of signals rather than isolated movements.

Vocal tone analysis

Pitch changes, speaking pace, and volume variations reveal stress, confidence, or deception. The technical term is paralanguage, and it's as important as the words themselves.

Research-based methods

This program draws from behavioral psychology research, particularly work on emotion recognition and interpersonal dynamics. No pseudoscience or unverified techniques.

01

Peer-reviewed sources

Every technique comes from published research in psychology, communication studies, or behavioral science journals.

02

Practical application focus

Theory matters only when it translates to observable improvements in coaching sessions. We test everything against real scenarios.

03

Cultural context awareness

Nonverbal cues vary across cultures. We cover universal principles while acknowledging regional differences that affect interpretation.

04

Ethics and limitations

Reading body language isn't mind reading. We emphasize responsible use and the importance of verbal confirmation.

18 Weeks of structured learning

How the program runs

18 weeks, three phases

Phase 1

Foundation (weeks 1-6)

Core concepts, universal expressions, baseline observation skills. You'll practice with recorded sessions before working with live subjects.

Phase 2

Integration (weeks 7-12)

Combining multiple signal types, understanding context, developing your observation workflow. Includes peer practice sessions.

Phase 3

Application (weeks 13-18)

Real coaching scenarios, ethical considerations, adapting techniques to different client types. Final assessment includes live session analysis.

Weekly expectations

  • 2 hours: Live online sessions (Tuesdays 19:00 Kyiv time)
  • 3-4 hours: Reading assignments and video analysis exercises
  • 1 hour: Optional peer practice sessions (self-organized)
  • 1-2 hours: Weekly observation logs from your coaching practice

Total weekly commitment: 7-9 hours. More if you're new to coaching, less if you already work with clients regularly.

What changes after completion

Immediate observation improvements

You'll notice incongruence between words and body language within the first few weeks. By week 18, pattern recognition becomes automatic.

Better intervention timing

Knowing when a client is actually ready to discuss something versus just being polite makes coaching sessions more efficient.

Deeper rapport building

Mirroring and spatial awareness techniques help clients feel understood at a level that verbal acknowledgment alone can't achieve.

Certification recognition

Completion certificate demonstrates specialized training to clients who want coaches with behavioral analysis backgrounds.

Who teaches this

Lead instructor with behavioral analysis expertise

Oleksiy Havrysh

Behavioral psychology researcher, executive coach since 2019

I spent six years analyzing interview techniques for corporate security assessments before switching to coaching. That background in deception detection and stress response analysis translates directly to understanding client behavior patterns.

Published three papers on micro-expression recognition accuracy in professional settings. Current research focuses on how remote coaching changes nonverbal communication dynamics.
